By the Creator

monarchf          Summer is definitely upon us.  And that got me thinking about something I recently read about.

It isn’t uncommon to see butterflies migrating in late summer.  Some people get to see hundreds of them (at one time) clinging to tree limbs as they rest on their journey.

Some scientists reported finding 16 sites in central Mexico (ranging from 1-10 acres each) where millions and millions of monarch butterflies from North America spend the winter.  No one knows how they find their way to these tiny plots of land since each new generation has never been to their winter home before.  Something programmed into their tiny bodies directs them to a place they have never seen – but which they know they must find.

But that’s just God.

It is another example of how God’s creatures are led by their Creator.

And it reminds us of the children of God mentioned in Hebrews 11.  Those heroes of the faith walked roads that had never been travelled because God led them.

May that describe you and me, too.  “Where He leads me, I will follow.  I’ll go with Him, with Him, all the way.”

I’m praying for you…
